Clean the oyster mushrooms gently with a damp cloth and trim the stems if necessary.
In a saucepan, combine the cleaned oyster mushrooms, olive oil, garlic cloves, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Heat the saucepan over low heat and let it simmer gently for about 40-50 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and infused with the oil.
