Brewing Directions
1. Mash Preparation
Heat 15 liters of water to around 67°C (153°F). Add the German Munich Malt, German Pilsner Malt, and German Carafa Special Malt. Maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.
2. Sparging
After mashing, sparge with 5 liters of water at 75°C (167°F) to collect the wort.
3. Boiling
Bring the wort to a boil. Add Hallertau Hops and boil for 60 minutes.
4. Cooling
Cool the wort rapidly to around 12°C (54°F) using a wort chiller.
5. Fermentation
Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel. Pitch the yeast and seal with an airlock. Ferment at 12°C (54°F) for 2-3 weeks.
