After mashing, bring the mixture to a boil. Add the hops and boil for 30 minutes. This adds bitterness and aroma to the beer.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the mixture quickly to about 20°C (68°F) using a wort chiller or an ice bath.

Cooling

Once cooled, transfer the liquid to a fermentation vessel. Add the yeast, cover, and let it ferment for about 5 days at a temperature of around 18°C (64°F).

Fermentation

After fermentation, add carbon dioxide to the mixture to achieve the desired level of fizziness.

Carbonation

Transfer the beer into clean bottles, adding caramel color if desired for appearance. Seal the bottles and refrigerate.
