Cocktail

Method

Prepare the Rim

  1. 1

    Mix rim

On a small plate combine Tajín and coarse salt (if using) and spread into an even shallow ring large enough to rim your glass.

  2. 2

Run the lime wedge around the outside rim of a rocks or coupe glass to moisten it. Press the rim (gently rotate) into the Tajín mixture to coat evenly. Set glass aside.

Build & Shake

  1. 3

Add 2 oz Reposado tequila, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz dry Curaçao, 0.5 oz agave syrup, and 0.5 tsp B&B Hot Honey into a cocktail shaker.

  2. 4

Fill the shaker with ice (about 3/4 full or ~1 cup).

  3. 5

Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted. The hot honey will emulsify into the mix—ensure it's well incorporated.

Strain & Serve

  1. 6

Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared rimmed glass over fresh ice (or serve neat in a chilled coupe if preferred). Use a fine mesh strainer if available to catch any honey bits or pulp.

  2. 7

Garnish with the reserved lime wedge on the rim or a thin lime wheel floated on top. Optionally drizzle a tiny extra dot (about 1/8–1/4 tsp) of B&B Hot Honey over the cocktail for more visual sweetness and heat.
