Method
Cocktail Base
Measure and combine
Pour 1.5 oz limoncello, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz berry liqueur into a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.
Shake with ice
Add ice to the shaker (enough to fill). Shake vigorously for about 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold — this chills and slightly dilutes the base for balance.
Sparkling Wine
Strain and build
Double-strain the chilled mixture into a wine or large stemmed glass filled with 3–4 large ice cubes to keep the spritz cold without over-diluting.
Top with bubbles
Gently pour 3 oz chilled Prosecco or Albariño down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and create a layered effervescence.
Finish & Garnish
Adjust effervescence (optional)
If you prefer a lighter spritz, add 0.5 oz chilled club soda or sparkling water and stir gently once with a bar spoon to combine. Do not over-stir to maintain bubbles.
Garnish
Float a lemon wheel on top and drop 2–3 fresh berries into the glass for aroma, visual appeal, and a little fruit accent. If desired, skewer a lemon wheel and one berry on a cocktail pick and rest it across the rim.
Serve immediately while chilled and effervescent.
