Method

Prepare Sorbet Base

Blend Strawberries

In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries and granulated sugar. Blend until smooth.

Add Lemon Juice and Bourbon

Add the lemon juice and bourbon to the strawberry mixture. Blend again until fully combined.

Chill Mixture

Pour the mixture into a shallow container and place it in the freezer for about 1 hour to chill.

Churn Sorbet

After chilling, churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Freeze Sorbet

Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Make Strawberry Wine Syrup

Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine strawberry wine, granulated sugar, and water.

Simmer

Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Reduce Syrup

Let the syrup simmer for about 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.

Serve

Scoop Sorbet

Scoop the strawberry sorbet into serving bowls or glasses.

Drizzle Syrup

Drizzle the strawberry wine syrup over the sorbet.

Add Vodka Drizzle

If using, drizzle lemon vodka over the top for added flavor.
