Shake Base

Method

Prep and Rim

1

Prepare rim

Pour 1/2 cup of Fruity Pebbles into a shallow bowl. Rub a slice of fresh strawberry or a little strawberry syrup around the rim of the serving glass to wet it. Turn the glass upside down and press the rim into the Fruity Pebbles until evenly coated. Set glass aside in the refrigerator to chill while you make the shake.

2

Reserve garnish cereal

Measure out 3 tablespoons of Fruity Pebbles and set aside to fold into the shake for texture and color.

Make the Shake

3

Combine base ingredients

In a high-powered blender add 2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1 cup whole milk, 1 cup strawberry yogurt, 2 tablespoons strawberry jam, 1 teaspoon granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

4

Add ice and blend

If you want a thicker, colder shake, add up to 4 ice cubes. Blend on medium-high until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 20-30 seconds. Stop and scrape down the sides once if needed.

5

Fold in cereal

Remove the blender lid and add the reserved 3 tablespoons Fruity Pebbles. Pulse the blender 2-3 short times (or stir with a spatula) just to incorporate the cereal without completely pulverizing it — you want small crunchy bits throughout the shake.

Assemble & Garnish

6

Drizzle and pour

Optional: drizzle about 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup inside the chilled glass for extra color. Pour the shake into the prepared glass, leaving room for whipped cream.

7

Add whipped cream and toppings

Top the shake with a generous swirl of whipped cream (about 1/4 cup per serving). Sprinkle a spoonful of Fruity Pebbles from the 1 cup reserved bowl over the whipped cream, and place 1-2 sliced fresh strawberries on top as a garnish.

8

Serve

Serve immediately with a wide straw and a long spoon to enjoy the crunchy Fruity Pebbles bits. If you prepared more than one serving, repeat rim and garnish steps for each glass.
