Method

Prep

1

Chill glass

Place a chilled highball or hurricane glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes, or fill with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to chill.

2

If rimming the glass, rub a lemon wedge around the rim then dip the rim in sugar or lemon zest. Set the glass aside.

Mixing

3

Combine ingredients

In a blender, add 2 oz vodka, 4 oz Island Oasis lemonade (or thawed frozen lemonade concentrate), 2 oz strawberry puree or strawberry mix, 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, and 1 cup crushed ice.

4

Blend

Blend on medium-high speed until the mixture is smooth and fully incorporated, about 20–30 seconds. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed, then blend an additional 5–10 seconds to ensure even texture. The final consistency should be creamy and pourable but still thick.

5

Adjust sweetness & strength

Taste the mixture. If it needs more strawberry flavor, add an additional 0.5 oz strawberry puree. If too strong, add 0.5–1 oz cold lemonade or a splash of water and pulse to combine. If you want it sweeter, add 1 tsp simple syrup or a small additional scoop of ice cream and blend briefly.

Serve

6

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer (or discard ice water). Pour the blended frosted strawberry lemonade into the glass, leaving a little headroom for garnish.

7

Garnish with a halved fresh strawberry or a lemon wheel on the rim. Optionally, sprinkle a little lemon zest over the top.

8

Serve immediately with a straw and a long spoon to scoop any remaining ice cream.
