Method
Prepare Glass
Rim (optional)
If using a rim, run the lime wedge around the lip of a copper mule mug or highball glass, then dip the rim into coarse sugar or a chili-salt mix to coat. This complements the spicy cherry flavors.
Build Cocktail
Pour 1.5 oz vodka over the ice.
Add 0.75 oz fresh lime juice.
Pour in 2 oz Kill Cliff Elk Blood Spicy Cherry (or similar spicy cherry energy drink).
Top with about 4 oz chilled ginger beer. Pour gently to preserve carbonation.
Use a bar spoon to stir gently 6–8 times to combine ingredients without flattening the ginger beer.
Garnish & Serve
Float or skewer 1 CBD gummy on a cocktail pick and rest it across the mug or place it on the rim. Ensure the gummy is clearly labeled and appropriate for the guest; advise guests of CBD presence and dosage.
Add a lime wheel or wedge and 2 cherries (fresh or frozen) on a pick or dropped into the drink for visual appeal.
Serve immediately with a straw and a short reminder to consume CBD responsibly.
