Method
Prep & Glass
Clean and chill
Wash and dry rubber duckies thoroughly with hot soapy water, rinse well, and air-dry. Chill the fishbowl (51 oz serving bowl or 51 oz glass) in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes if possible to keep the drink cold longer.
If using gummy sharks on toothpicks or skewers, thread them now and set aside for finish garnish.
Mixing the Cocktail
Combine alcohol and juices
In a large mixing pitcher or directly in the 51 oz fishbowl, add 12 fl oz vodka, 20 fl oz pineapple juice, 16 fl oz chilled lemonade, and 2 fl oz mango syrup or puree. Stir gently to combine.
Add blue color and adjust sweetness
Pour 1 fl oz blue curaçao into the bowl and stir once to create a light blue hue. Taste and, if additional sweetness is desired, add up to 1 fl oz simple syrup and stir again.
Add 64 fl oz of ice to the bowl to fill and chill the mixture. Stir gently to integrate and cool the drink evenly.
Assembly & Garnish
Cotton candy topping
Just before serving, place a small tuft of blue cotton candy on a clean spoon or on top of the ice so it sits above the liquid. The cotton candy will slowly melt into the drink, adding sweetness and a dramatic presentation.
Add novelty garnishes
Float 6 gummy candy sharks on the surface and place 2 cleaned rubber duckies on top of the ice (or suspend on the rim if they float) as decorative elements. If gummy sharks are on skewers, balance them across the bowl rim or lay them gently on the ice.
Give the bowl a final gentle stir to encourage some of the cotton candy to dissolve if desired, but leave some intact for presentation. Serve with long straws and a ladle for sharing.
