Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Stuffed Peppers

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the tops off the hot banana peppers and remove the seeds. In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese with a pinch of salt and pepper. Stuff each pepper with the cheese mixture and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Strip Steak

Rub the strip steak with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Bake the Stuffed Peppers

Place the stuffed banana peppers in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Garlic Rolls

While the peppers are baking, slice the garlic rolls in half and toast them lightly in the oven for about 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the rested steak and place it on the toasted garlic roll. Top with the baked stuffed banana pepper. Serve with a side of french fries or your choice of side dish.
