Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the strip steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from skillet and let rest.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Spinach

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the garlic rolls in half. Place a generous amount of sautéed spinach on the bottom half of each roll. Slice the rested steak into strips and place on top of the spinach. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top and cover with the other half of the roll.

  4. 4

    Final Touch

If desired, place the assembled rolls under a broiler for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese slightly. Serve immediately.
