Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Cutlets
Flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet. Season with salt and pepper.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station: one plate with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, boil salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
In a baking dish, place the fried chicken cutlets, top each with marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- 6
Serve
Serve the chicken cutlet parm with a side of spaghetti and garlic bread. Garnish with fresh basil.
