Beverage (single serving)

Method

Prepare serving

  1. 1

    Chill and choose glass

Ensure the can of Coca‑Cola is well chilled (ideally 2–4°C / 36–39°F). If you prefer, select a tall glass and put 4 ice cubes into it. Chilling the glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes will help keep the drink colder longer.

  2. 2

    Open the can

Hold the can upright on a stable surface. Lift the tab and push it down to break the seal. If the can has been recently shaken, open slowly to release pressure and avoid overflow.

  3. 3

    Pour (optional)

If using a glass, pour the Coca‑Cola slowly down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and minimize foaming. Fill to your preferred level, leaving a finger or two of headspace to retain bubbles. If not using a glass, you can drink directly from the can.

  4. 4

    Add garnish

If desired, squeeze a lemon or lime wedge lightly over the top and drop it into the glass or rest it on the rim. Stir gently once with a spoon if you added citrus to distribute flavor.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while cold to enjoy the crisp, refreshing taste. Dispose of ice as needed to avoid dilution over time.
