Method
Cocktail
- 1
Prepare glass
Select a large wine glass or rocks glass. Fill the glass generously with ice so the drink chills quickly and maintains temperature.
- 2
Add Aperol
Pour 3 tablespoons (about 45 ml) of Aperol over the ice. Let it briefly settle against the cold glass.
- 3
Add Prosecco
Carefully add 3 tablespoons (about 45 ml) of chilled Prosecco by pouring gently down the side of the glass to retain effervescence. Pouring slowly helps preserve bubbles.
- 4
Top with soda
Add 1 tablespoon (about 15 ml) of chilled soda water to lengthen and lighten the cocktail. Stir once gently with a bar spoon — one or two slow turns — to combine without flattening the bubbles.
- 5
Garnish and serve
Garnish with one fresh orange wheel placed on the rim or floated in the glass. Serve immediately while chilled and effervescent.
