Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bones

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Rinse the beef bone marrow bones under cold water to remove any blood or impurities. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Season the Bones

Place the bones on a baking sheet cut-side up. Drizzle them with olive oil, and season generously with sea salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Roast the Bones

Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and roast the bones for about 15-20 minutes, or until the marrow is bubbly and begins to pull away from the sides of the bones.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Garnish

While the bones are roasting, finely chop the fresh parsley and mince the garlic cloves. Combine them in a small bowl and set aside.

  5. 5

    Toast the Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick pieces. Place them on a separate baking sheet and toast in the oven for the last 5 minutes of the bone roasting time, until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the bones are roasted, remove them from the oven. Serve hot, garnished with the parsley and garlic mixture, alongside the toasted baguette and lemon wedges for squeezing over the marrow.
