Method
Old Fashioned Cocktail Directions
- 1
Prepare the Glass
Begin by chilling an old fashioned glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the cocktail.
- 2
Muddle Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add the demerara sugar and the water. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Then add the Angostura bitters and Regans' orange bitters.

- 4
Add Ice
Add 2-3 ice cubes to the mixing glass and stir gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
- 5
Prepare the Glass Again
Empty the ice water from the old fashioned glass and strain the chilled mixture from the mixing glass into the prepared glass.
- 6
Garnish
Take a piece of orange peel and twist it over the drink to release the oils, then place it on the rim of the glass as a garnish.
