Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Coffee

Measure 30 grams of coarsely ground coffee using a scale. This will provide a strong flavor that is characteristic of a French press.

  2. 2

    Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 500 ml of filtered water to a boil. Allow it to boil for about 30 seconds to ensure it reaches the right temperature (around 90-95°C) for brewing.

  3. 3

    Combine Coffee and Water

In the French press, add the measured coffee grounds. Slowly pour the hot water over the coffee, ensuring all grounds are saturated. Stir gently with a spoon to mix.

  4. 4

    Steep the Coffee

Place the lid on the French press with the plunger pulled up. Allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes. This will extract the rich flavors from the coffee grounds.

  5. 5

    Press the Plunger

After 4 minutes, slowly press down the plunger to separate the coffee grounds from the liquid. Apply even pressure to avoid splashing.

  6. 6

    Serve the Coffee

Pour the brewed coffee into your favorite mug. Add sugar, milk, or cream to taste if desired.
