Start by filling a cocktail glass or shot glass with ice cubes to chill.

Mix the Whiskey
Pour 2 ounces of whiskey into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well for about 15-20 seconds to chill the whiskey.

Strain the chilled whiskey into the prepared glass, discarding the ice.
