Sear the Chicken Livers
In a large skillet, melt half of the unsalted butter over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the chicken livers and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool.

Chop and Combine
Once the chicken livers have cooled, chop them finely. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped chicken livers, sautéed onions and garlic, remaining unsalted butter, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until combined.

Serve Chopped Chicken Liver
Spread the chopped chicken liver mixture over the toasted bread slices. Garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
