Method
Cocktail Preparation
- 1
Chill the Glass
Before you begin mixing, chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside while you prepare the drink.
- 2
Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Prairie Gin, 0.5 oz of honey, 0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 2 dashes of Regan's Orange Bitters.
- 3
Add Ice
Fill the shaker with ice cubes (approximately 1 cup) to help chill and dilute the mixture as you shake.
- 4
Shake Well
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.
- 5
Strain the Mixture
Empty the ice water from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer to catch any ice shards.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Twist a piece of lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it in as a garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy!
