Orange Juice (Fresh)
Cranberry Juice (Fresh-ish / Mixed)
Pineapple Juice (Fresh)
Method
Orange Juice (Fresh)
- 1
Prepare and juice
Wash the oranges. Roll each orange on the counter with the palm of your hand to loosen juices. Cut each orange in half crosswise. Using a citrus juicer (manual or electric), extract juice from the 3 oranges into a measuring cup or pitcher until you have about 8–10 fl oz of juice.
- 2
Adjust sweetness & consistency
Taste the juice. If it's too pulpy or thick, stir in up to 2 tablespoons cold water to reach desired consistency. If you want it sweeter, stir in up to 1 teaspoon granulated sugar or simple syrup until dissolved. If using sugar, stir while juice is slightly warm from juicing or dissolve sugar in 1 tablespoon warm water first.
- 3
Chill and serve
Fill a serving glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup). Pour the orange juice over the ice. Optional: squeeze the lemon or lime wedge over the top and drop it in as garnish. Serve immediately. One free refill: keep remaining fresh juice refrigerated and pour another serving within 24 hours.
Cranberry Juice (Fresh-ish / Mixed)
- 4
Measure and sweeten (if needed)
Pour 8 fl oz of 100% unsweetened cranberry juice into a pitcher or measuring cup. Taste the juice. If it tastes too tart, stir in up to 1 teaspoon simple syrup or honey until dissolved. Add up to 2 tablespoons cold water if you prefer a milder flavor.
- 5
Chill and serve
Fill a serving glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup). Pour the cranberry juice mixture over the ice. Optional: squeeze a lime wedge over the top and drop it in as garnish. Serve immediately. One free refill: refrigerate the remaining juice and pour another serving within 48 hours (commercial juice keeps longer).
Pineapple Juice (Fresh)
- 6
Prepare the pineapple
Cut the top and bottom off the pineapple. Stand it upright and slice off the skin, cutting deep enough to remove the eyes. Cut the pineapple into quarters lengthwise and remove the fibrous core from each quarter. Chop the flesh into chunks and transfer to a blender or juicer.
- 7
Blend or juice
If using a juicer, feed the chunks through the juicer to collect about 8–10 fl oz of fresh pineapple juice. If using a blender, add the pineapple chunks and 1–2 tablespoons cold water, then blend on high until smooth. Strain the blended puree through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove pulp if you prefer a clear juice.
- 8
Adjust sweetness & serve
Taste the juice. If it needs sweetening, stir in up to 1 teaspoon simple syrup or sugar until dissolved. Stir in up to 2 tablespoons cold water to adjust consistency. Fill a serving glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup). Pour the pineapple juice over the ice, squeeze a lime wedge on top if desired, and serve immediately. One free refill: refrigerate the remaining juice and use within 24–48 hours.
