Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Add ingredients

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with cubed ice (about 1 cup). Pour in 1.5 oz vodka, 1.5 oz white rum, 0.75 oz passion fruit syrup, and 0.5 oz crème de banana.

2

Add juices

Add 1 oz fresh orange juice, 1 oz pineapple juice and 1 oz cranberry juice to the shaker with the spirits and syrups.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the exterior of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted. This chills and slightly dilutes the drink for balance.

4

Pour

Fill a highball or hurricane glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass.

Garnish & Finish

5

Thread a maraschino cherry onto a cocktail pick and rest it across a pineapple wedge (or skewer both). Garnish the glass with the pineapple wedge and cherry on the rim; optionally add an orange slice. Serve with a straw and enjoy immediately.
