Method

Cocktail

1

Chill glass (optional)

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice water while you prepare the drink; discard ice water before straining.

2

Add Rime vodka, pomegranate juice, fresh lime juice, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup, and one dash of Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker.

3

Fill the shaker with ice (about 3/4 full) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold and slightly frosty.

4

If using edible shimmer, add it to the shaker for a subtle pearlescent swirl (optional). Give the shaker one quick gentle shake to distribute shimmer without over-aerating.

5

Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or a rocks glass filled with fresh ice using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer to remove ice shards and any pomegranate pulp.

6

Top gently with 1 oz club soda to add a light effervescence. Do not stir vigorously to preserve the shimmer and carbonation.

Garnish & Serve

7

Drop 1 tsp of pomegranate seeds into the drink so they sink slightly and provide visual contrast.

8

Float a thin lime wheel on the surface or perch it on the glass rim.

9

Serve immediately. Suggest pairing: light seafood or citrus-forward small plates.
