Dulce Benne Cookies

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2

Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

3

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, and then add the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.

4

Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

5

Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.

6

Fold in Extras

Fold in the chopped pecans, dark chocolate chips, and Amaro Nonino.

7

Shape Cookies

Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

8

Churn the Ice Cream

Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

14

Freeze

Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
