Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Select ripe Nerello Mascalese grapes from the vineyard, ensuring they are free of rot and disease. Harvest about 1 kg of grapes.

Harvesting Grapes

In a clean fermentation vessel, crush the harvested grapes to release their juice. You can use a wine press or do this manually.

Crushing Grapes

Add 500 ml of water to the crushed grapes to create the must. Stir the mixture gently to combine.

Preparing Must

Dissolve 100 g of sugar and 3 g of tartaric acid in a small amount of warm water, then add it to the must. Stir to combine.

Adding Ingredients

Sprinkle 5 g of wine yeast over the surface of the must. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before stirring it in.

Inoculating Yeast

Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth and let the must ferment at room temperature (around 20-25°C) for 7-10 days. Stir daily to ensure even fermentation.

Fermentation

After fermentation, press the must to separate the liquid wine from the solids. Use a wine press or a strainer to do this.

Pressing Wine

Transfer the pressed wine into a clean glass or stainless steel container. Allow it to age for at least 2-3 months in a cool, dark place.

Aging Wine

After aging, bottle the wine in clean, sterilized bottles. Seal with corks and store the bottles horizontally in a dark place.
