Base & Fruit
Prepare fruit
If using fresh strawberries, hulI and halve them. Peel and halve the banana if using. Measure 2 cups of mixed berries; fresh or frozen both work (if using frozen, reduce ice).
Place the mixed berries and banana into the blender jar.
Add 1 cup oat milk to the blender.
Flavor & Add-ins
Add 1 tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder to the blender so the berry flavor balances with a subtle chocolate note.
If you want added sweetness, add up to 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup. Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1 teaspoon ground chia seeds if using for texture and extra nutrients.
Ice & Blend
Add 1 cup ice cubes (omit or reduce if berries are frozen). Secure the blender lid.
Blend
Blend on high for 45–75 seconds, or until completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides once if needed, then blend again. If the smoothie is too thick, add oat milk by 2 tablespoon increments until desired consistency is reached; if too thin, add a few more ice cubes or 1/4 cup frozen berries and re-blend.
