Base

Method

Base

1

Prepare blender

Chill the blender jar briefly or add a few ice cubes to keep the base cold while blending. This helps maintain a thick açaí texture.

2

Add 6 oz frozen açaí purée to the blender.

3

Pour in 1/3 cup oat milk (or 1/3 cup coconut milk or 1/3 cup coconut water) to start. Note: the listed 3 /cups indicates choosing one milk and having about 1/3 cup per single bowl, adjust slightly for desired thickness.

4

Add the ripe banana (fresh or frozen) to increase creaminess.

5

Add 1 cup frozen mixed berries for flavor and to help blending; if you prefer a purer açaí flavor omit or reduce berries.

6

If you like sweeter bowls, add up to 1 tablespoon honey or agave.

7

Pulse the blender 5–10 times, then blend on high in 10–15 second bursts, scraping down sides as needed. The goal is a thick, spoonable smoothie—like soft-serve. If too thick, add additional milk 1 tablespoon at a time; if too thin, add a few ice cubes or a small handful of frozen berries.

8

Spoon the blended açaí base into a serving bowl, using a spatula to get all the thick mixture out.

Fruit & Mix-ins

9

Arrange fresh banana slices (1/2 banana) and diced mango (1/2 cup) over one side of the açaí base for color and texture contrast.

10

If you like extra fruit flavor, scatter a few additional fresh berries on top.

Crunch & Seeds

11

Sprinkle 1/2 cup granola across the bowl in a line or cluster to provide crunch.

12

Scatter 2 tablespoons crushed almonds or mixed nuts for additional texture.

13

Finish the crunch layer with 1 teaspoon chia seeds evenly sprinkled for nutrition and visual appeal.

Extras & Garnish

14

Lightly dust 1 tablespoon shredded unsweetened coconut and 1 teaspoon cacao nibs (if using) across the bowl.

15

Garnish with 2 fresh mint leaves for aroma and freshness.

16

Serve immediately with a spoon. Encourage the eater to mix toppings into the açaí base as they like.
