Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Rice

Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming sticky.

2

Sauté Garlic

In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

3

Cook the Rice

Add the rinsed rice to the saucepan with the sautéed garlic. Stir to coat the rice in the oil and garlic mixture for about 1-2 minutes.

4

Add Water and Salt

Pour in the water and add the salt. Bring the mixture to a boil.

5

Simmer

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.

6

Fluff and Serve

Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 5 minutes. Then, fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
