Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Caramelized Onions

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt. Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until onions are soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

2

Form the Burger Patty

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into a patty that is about 8 oz and slightly larger than the bun.

3

Cook the Burger

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place the American cheese on top of the burger and cover to melt.

4

Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked burger with melted cheese on the bottom half of the brioche bun. Top with lettuce and the caramelized onions. Place the top half of the bun on and serve.
