Chicken Wings
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and black pepper.
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the Buffalo sauce and stir until well combined.
Toss the Wings
In a large mixing bowl, combine the fried chicken wings with the Buffalo sauce. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
Serve
Serve the chicken wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce and celery sticks on the side.
