Base Spirits

Mix & Finish

Method

Base Spirits

1

Measure spirits

Combine Bacardi Superior rum (1 oz), Sauza Blue tequila (0.5 oz), Jim Beam bourbon (0.5 oz), New Amsterdam gin (0.5 oz), and Wheatley vodka (0.5 oz) into a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.

Modifiers & Sweeteners

2

Add 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz orange liqueur, and 0.5 oz simple syrup to the mixing glass with the spirits.

3

Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters for aromatic depth. These balance the multiple base spirits and add complexity.

Mix & Finish

4

Fill the shaker or mixing glass with ice (about 1 cup) to chill and slightly dilute the cocktail.

5

Shake

Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled (exterior of shaker becomes cold and slightly frosted).

6

Strain the mixture into a chilled highball or Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Top with 2 oz club soda and gently stir once to integrate.

7

Garnish with a lime wheel or twist on the rim. Serve with a straw if desired.

8

Taste and adjust: if the drink is too tart, add 0.25 oz simple syrup; if too sweet, add a small squeeze of lime.
