Digital Gift Card Recipe

Sign in / choose platform

Sign in to the merchant's website or gift card platform with your account. If you don’t have an account, create one using a valid email address and a secure password.

Select digital gift card product

From the site’s menu, choose 'Gift Cards' and pick the digital/e-gift option. Select the design or template that fits the occasion.

Enter recipient details

Enter the recipient's full name and their email address exactly as they should receive it. Add the sender name so the recipient knows who it’s from.

Choose amount and add message

Select or type the gift card amount you want to send. Write a concise, personal message — include any specifics the recipient might need to know (e.g., occasion, expiration if applicable).

Choose delivery timing

Decide whether to send the gift card immediately or schedule it for a future date/time. If scheduling, confirm the time zone and date carefully.

Enter payment details and review

Provide your payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.). Review all details: recipient email, amount, message, delivery date. Verify there are no typos in the recipient email to avoid misdelivery.

Complete purchase and save confirmation

Confirm and complete the purchase. Save or screenshot the confirmation/receipt that includes the order number and delivery information. You will receive a confirmation email to your account email.

Confirm delivery and forward if necessary

After the scheduled delivery time, check that the recipient received the e-mail with the gift card and redemption code or link. If the recipient did not receive it, forward your confirmation email to the recipient or contact the merchant's customer support with your order number.

Provide redemption assistance (optional)

If the recipient needs help redeeming, supply them with the redemption code or instructions from your confirmation email. Explain any terms (expiration, eligible purchases, whether it's single-use or reloadable).
