Fries

All American Sauce

Loaded Toppings (optional)

Garlic Parmesan Topping (optional)

Chili Topping (optional)

Method

Preparing the Fries

1

Cutting the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into even-sized strips, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

2

Soaking the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.

3

Frying the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the dried potato strips in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

4

Draining and Seasoning

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Immediately sprinkle with salt while still hot.

Making the All American Sauce

5

Mixing the Sauce

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Preparing Optional Toppings

6

Loaded Topping Preparation

If making loaded fries, combine shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and green onions in a bowl.

7

Garlic Parmesan Topping Preparation

For garlic parmesan fries, mix grated Parmesan, minced garlic, and parsley in a separate bowl.

8

Chili Topping Preparation

Heat the cooked chili in a saucepan until warmed through.

Serving

9

Assembling the Dish

Serve the fries hot with a side of All American sauce. Add optional toppings as desired (loaded, garlic parm, or chili). Enjoy!
