Method
Cocktail Base
Measure and combine
Add 2 oz lavender gin, 0.75 oz St-Germain, 0.5 oz Aperol, and 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice into a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (enough to three-quarters fill). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.
Assemble & Serve
Top with soda
Gently top the drink with about 2.5 oz chilled soda water. Pour slowly over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass to preserve effervescence and create a light blush separation.
Garnish and finish
Express an orange twist over the surface by holding the twist skin-side down over the drink and giving it a sharp squeeze to release oils; rub the rim with the peel and drop it into the glass. Optionally, add a small sprig of lavender for aroma. Serve immediately.
