Method
Pastries and Muffins
Prepare the Muffin Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
Bake the Muffins
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with muffin liners. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Prepare the Pastries
If using store-bought pastries, preheat the oven according to package instructions. Bake pastries as directed. If making from scratch, follow the specific recipe for the pastries you choose.
Beverages
Brew the Coffee
Brew 8 cups of coffee using your preferred method (drip coffee maker, French press, etc.). Keep warm until serving.
Prepare Hot Tea
Boil water and steep your choice of tea in 8 cups of water for the recommended time. Keep warm until serving.
Serve Orange Juice
Pour fresh orange juice into a pitcher or individual glasses and keep chilled.
Prepare Soft Drinks
Chill cans of soft drinks in the refrigerator and serve cold.
Fruit Platter
Prepare the Fruit
Wash and slice the watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and kiwi. Arrange the sliced fruit on a large platter for serving.
