Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Start by preheating your grill or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. While the grill is heating, slice the sweet bell peppers into strips and halve the sungold tomatoes.

2

Cook the Peppers and Tomatoes

In a mixing bowl, toss the sweet bell peppers and sungold tomatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill or sauté them for about 5-7 minutes until blistered and tender. Set aside.

3

Cook the Wagyu Bavette

Rub the Wagyu bavette steak with the remaining olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust according to your preferred doneness.

4

Make the Harissa Jus

In a small saucepan, combine the harissa paste with 1 cup of water or beef broth. Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened.

5

Serve the Dish

Slice the Wagyu bavette against the grain and arrange it on a serving plate. Top with the blistered peppers and tomatoes, drizzle with harissa jus, and garnish with fresh parsley.
