Core Colostrum Blend

Method

Prepare Ingredients

1

Measure out 1 tablespoon of colostrum powder and place it in a small bowl or the blender cup you'll use. If using a gelatinous or clumpy product, break up any lumps gently with a spoon so it rehydrates evenly.

2

If using a raw egg yolk, separate the yolk from the white and have it ready. Use pasteurized eggs if you are concerned about raw eggs.

3

Warm the milk slightly (to about 105–110°F / 40–43°C) if you prefer a warm beverage; for a chilled drink, keep the milk cold and add ice later. Warming helps dissolve powders and bloom collagen.

Mixing and Emulsifying

4

Combine Base

Pour 1 cup of milk into the blender or a mixing jar. Add the tablespoon of colostrum powder and the optional collagen powder. If you are not using a blender, use a whisk or milk frother.

5

Add Richness & Sweetness

Add 1 raw egg yolk (or omit for safety/personal preference), 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt into the milk mixture. Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/8 teaspoon turmeric with a pinch of black pepper if using.

6

Blend

Blend on medium for 20–30 seconds until the mixture is smooth, frothy, and no powder lumps remain. If using a handheld whisk, whisk vigorously for about 45–60 seconds. If preparing a chilled drink, add 4 ice cubes and pulse once or twice to chill and lightly froth.

Serve & Store

7

Taste and adjust sweetness or seasoning: add up to another 1/2 teaspoon honey or a little more cinnamon to taste. If the texture is too thick, thin with up to 2 tablespoons of additional milk.

8

Pour into a cup and enjoy immediately. For warm serving, drink within 10 minutes while still slightly warm and frothy. For a chilled version, serve over additional ice.

9

Leftovers: store any remaining mixture in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or re-blend before consuming. Do not freeze, as freezing may degrade some nutrients and change texture.
