Method

Soda

1

Chill bottle

Place the bottled Mexican Coca-Cola in the refrigerator until well chilled (around 2–4 hours) or in an ice bath for 15–30 minutes if you need it quickly.

2

Prepare glass

Fill a highball glass about three-quarters full with fresh ice cubes. If you prefer drinking straight from the bottle, skip this step.

3

Open and pour

Using a bottle opener, remove the cap from the Mexican Coca-Cola. Hold the bottle gently and pour the soda slowly down the side of the chilled glass to preserve carbonation and avoid excessive foaming. Pour until the glass is nearly full, leaving a small gap at the top to avoid overflow.

Garnish (optional)

4

Squeeze a lime wedge lightly over the surface of the poured Coke to add a bright citrus note, then drop the wedge into the glass. Alternatively, tuck a fresh mint sprig against the ice for an aromatic accent. Do not add additional mixers — the goal is to enjoy the characteristic flavor of Mexican Coca-Cola (cane sugar).

Serveware

5

Serve immediately while cold. If presenting in the bottle, place the opened bottle on a coaster with the glass alongside. If serving multiple guests, keep extra bottles chilled in an ice bucket.
