Preparation Instructions

1

Cook the Rice

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 cups of rice, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes until the rice is tender. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.

2

Prepare the Ground Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound of ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning and follow package instructions, usually adding a little water and simmering for a few minutes.

3

Assemble the Taco Bowl

In a bowl, place a generous scoop of the cooked rice at the bottom. Top with the seasoned ground beef, then add fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese. Add sour cream and jalapeños on top as desired.

4

Serve

Serve immediately while everything is warm and enjoy your delicious Taco Bowl!
