Method

Prepare the Mushrooms

1

Clean the Mushrooms

Gently brush off any dirt from the wild mushrooms with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid washing them directly under water to prevent them from becoming soggy.

2

Sauté the Mushrooms

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the cleaned wild mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender and golden brown.

Make the Glaze

3

Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.

4

Cook the Glaze

Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook while stirring until the mixture is bubbly and the sugar has completely dissolved, about 3-4 minutes.

5

Coat the Mushrooms

Pour the hot glaze over the sautéed mushrooms in the skillet. Stir gently to coat the mushrooms evenly with the glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the glaze thickens slightly.

Serve the Dish

6

Plate the Mushrooms

Using a slotted spoon, carefully transfer the glazed mushrooms to a serving plate.

7

Garnish and Present

Garnish the dish with fresh mint leaves and a light dusting of powdered sugar for an elegant touch. Serve warm.
