Method

Cocktail

1

Muddle

Place the 4 thin cucumber slices in the bottom of a cocktail shaker or sturdy mixing glass. Add the 0.25 oz simple syrup (or omit if you prefer less sweetness). Gently muddle the cucumber 6–8 times just to release fresh cucumber juice and aroma—do not over-muddle into a puree.

2

Build and shake

Add 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice to the shaker with the muddled cucumber. Fill the shaker about two-thirds with ice (approximately 1 cup). Shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds until well chilled.

3

Strain into glass

Fill a mule mug or highball glass with fresh ice. Double-strain the shaker contents into the prepared glass to keep cucumber solids out (use a Hawthorne strainer plus a fine mesh strainer or a julep strainer).

4

Top with ginger beer

Pour 4 oz chilled ginger beer gently over the back of a spoon or directly into the glass to preserve effervescence. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to combine—about 2–3 gentle turns.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a cucumber ribbon or wheel and a lime wedge on the rim. Optionally add a mint sprig for extra aroma. Serve immediately with a straw.
