Preparation Instructions

1

Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the macaroni pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk for about 1 minute. Gradually add the milk while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

3

Combine Macaroni and Cheese Sauce

Add the drained macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix until fully coated.

4

Assemble the Cheesy Pig

On a slice of sourdough bread, layer a generous scoop of the mac & cheese, followed by pulled pork, a dollop of tomato onion jam, and drizzle with 913 whiskey sauce. Top with another slice of sourdough.

5

Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Butter the outside of the sourdough sandwich and place it in the skillet. Grill until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.

6

Serve

Cut the sandwich in half and serve hot. Enjoy your Cheesy Pig!
