Pull a double shot of espresso
Using an espresso machine, pull a double shot of espresso until you have about 60 ml. Pour the espresso into a warm serving glass, ensuring a nice crema forms on top.
Heat and measure water
Heat fresh water to just below boiling, around 92–96°C (198–205°F). Measure 180 ml of hot water and keep it hot for immediate use.
Combine espresso and hot water
Pour the 180 ml of hot water into the glass containing the 60 ml espresso. Stir gently to blend the flavors evenly and reach a balanced strength.
Serve
Serve immediately in a warm cup. Optional: adjust strength by adding a little more hot water if desired, and enjoy while fresh.
