Method

Preparation

1

Prepare Oysters

Shuck the oysters and place them on a serving plate with ice to keep them cold.

2

Togarashi Seared Yellowfin Tuna

Slice the yellowfin tuna into thin steaks. Rub with togarashi seasoning and sear in a hot pan for 30 seconds on each side. Let it cool and then slice into thin strips.

3

Marinated Mussels

Steam the mussels until they open, then remove from heat. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the mussels and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4

Poached Shrimp

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove and chill in ice water.

5

Scallop Ceviche

Thinly slice scallops and marinate in a mixture of lemon juice, olive oil, chili flakes, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.

Assembly

6

Plate the Seafood

On a large serving platter, arrange the oysters, togarashi seared tuna, marinated mussels, poached shrimp, and scallop ceviche. Serve chilled.
