Wine Making Process
Harvesting the Grapes
Select ripe Malbec grapes and harvest them. Ensure that only the best quality grapes are chosen.
Crushing the Grapes
Crush the grapes gently to release the juice. This can be done by hand or using a grape crusher.
Fermentation
Transfer the crushed grapes and juice into a fermentation vessel. Add water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently to mix. Cover the vessel and let it ferment in a cool, dark place for about 7-14 days.
Pressing
After fermentation, press the mixture to separate the liquid from the solids. Collect the liquid into a clean container.
Adding Sulfur Dioxide
Add sulfur dioxide to the wine to preserve it and prevent spoilage. Stir well.
Aging
Transfer the wine into oak barrels or bottles and let it age for at least 6 months to develop its flavors.
