Method
Cooking the Pasta
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce
Sauté Aromatics
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped shallots. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Add Tomatoes and Cream
Stir in the crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and add heavy cream, stirring until combined.
Season the Sauce
Add salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Mix well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Cooking the Seafood
Cook Seafood
Add the scallops and shrimp to the sauce. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the seafood is opaque and cooked through. Gently fold in the blue crab meat.
Combining and Serving
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.
Garnish and Serve
