Preparation Steps

1

Prepare Jasmine Rice

Rinse 1 cup of jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice with 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

2

Cook the Beef Patty

Season the grass-fed beef patty with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.

3

Prepare the Nitro Short Rib Gravy

In the same skillet, add leftover juices from the beef patty. Add 1 cup of nitro short rib gravy (store-bought or homemade) and heat until warm. Stir to combine flavors.

4

Fry the Egg

In another pan, fry the egg sunny-side up or to your preference. Season with salt and pepper.

5

Assemble the Nitro Loco Moco

On a plate, start with a base of jasmine rice. Place the cooked beef patty on top of the rice, followed by pickled onions, and then pour the nitro short rib gravy over the patty. Top with the fried egg and garnish with chopped green onions.
