Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Muddle cucumber

Place 4 fresh cucumber slices in a cocktail shaker. Add the fresh lime juice and, if using, the 0.25 oz simple syrup. Use a muddler (or the back of a spoon) to gently muddle the cucumber just enough to release bright cucumber juice and aroma — about 6–8 firm presses. Do not over-muddle into a puree.

2

Build and shake

Add 2 oz Tito's vodka and 0.75 oz St-Germain to the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.

3

Prepare a chilled coupe or rocks glass. Double strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into the glass to remove cucumber solids and ice shards. If you prefer a slightly lighter drink, pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass instead.

4

Top (optional)

If desired, top the cocktail with about 1 oz club soda for a spritz and gently stir once to combine.

Garnish & serve

5

Thread a cucumber ribbon or place a cucumber wheel on the rim of the glass and add a lime wheel or wedge. Serve immediately.
