Method
Cocktail
Measure and combine
Add 1 oz Montelobos mezcal, 1 oz Green Chartreuse, 1 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur and juice from 3 lime quarters (about 3/4 oz total) into a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with about 6 large ice cubes, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well-chilled.
Double strain
Double-strain the mixture (using both a Hawthorne/mesh strainer and a fine mesh strainer) into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass to remove ice shards and any lime pulp.
Garnish & serve
Express a lime wheel or twist over the surface of the cocktail to release oils, then drop it into the glass or place it on the rim. Serve immediately.
